My one and only sister (Nancy) was there along with Martha and Sharla.
Things were going pretty good until Abby, who was practicing skipping... missed a skip... and did a face plant... after a few minutes of hysteria she recovered, but it took Mom a few more to recover.
With a few hugs the world was good again.
Lookout world here comes another Kimberly...
We managed a stroll down Main St, Fredericksburg.
Abby was in rare form as she mentioned to a lady "Please don't talk with your mouth full"! The lady then asked Martha what Abby said... Martha said; "You don't want to know".... but the lady did want to know... so she found out... oh well... at least she said please.
Another humorous note: Abby was very friendly to all the elderly folks at the home, especially the ones in wheel chairs. She was very polite and conversational. The one comment we will remember for a long time... "I always tell my Mom not to park in handicap parking, because our legs work"!! This she told to a man in a wheel chair.
What a fun day.
She loved this sign and kept wanting her photo taken there...

Abby is a nutter. She's just plain nutty. But hilarious. I absolutely love this post! Those pictures of grandma laughing at whatever Abby is doing are priceless. I'm so glad everyone got to go for the birthday celebration!
Yes, and we should go back once a week! It was good for everyone, especially Grandma. Thanks for including us, Popop & Mimi!
at least there is progress - right?
I know it will be amazing when it is complete.
What a nice birthday present for Great Grandma !! You can just see the joy :-)
Abby is priceless.
I remember Laura telling an aquaintance once that I just didn't care much for her. (Out of the mouth of babe's).
Can't believe Piper is almost 1 !!
