Abby came over to visit today and Mimi was her wonderful self. Her Daughters refer to their Mom as the Energizer Bunny... she keeps going and going.
One of Abby's favorite activities is to look over the fence at "Shadow"... the neighbors dog... Mimi says PopPop needs to build some steps so Abby can look over the fence without Mimi holding her up... apparently Mimi will tire a little... Next they practiced blowing bubbles, and Abby finally succeeded... and then the camera came out... we missed the really good one, but you get the idea. PopPop gets really excited at times...
PopPop took Abby to Lowes for a fun time... There are some things for us guys to teach our Grand Daughters... boring... thankfully there are no boring videos of that!
Mimi played with Abby in the backyard for a long time and then made cookies... healthy cookies. Whole wheat flour, wheat germ, flax seed meal, cranberries and toasted walnuts. Amazingly there was only a third of a cup of chocolate chips in the whole recipe... no woman can make cookies with only a third of a cup of chocolate chips... but she did... This video is one of our favorites...
We all liked the cookies.
It seems like Abby comes up with a ton of new words everyday. Today it the first day we have heard the following... In song form no less...

O Abby come to nama house and I'll show you how to make ch. chip cookies (without all that good for you stuff) and the dough is wonderful and I'll even make a whole batch for just dough eating. J/K.

We need to make some Cherry Pie for Abby... Mimi makes the worlds best cherry pie and Abby never gets a taste because of mean ol PopPop and Jake... We love Mimi's Cherry Pie...
