All three Daughters got together in Seattle in February, since the airfares were so cheap. Martha and Joe joined in the melee and managed to get there and back space available. We flew there with Sharla and Abby and flew back with Melissa. Sharla could have used a little help with Abby on the way back, but her flight was full... shoot... Martha and Joe took the sleeping and reading flight back. Actually Abby was a good traveler both ways... especially for a 2 year old.
The weather was so nice our first day in Seattle we decided to take the ferry to Bainbridge Island for lunch. You can see Abby enjoying the bright sunshine and calm seas... Life is Good.
We even ventured outside to check out the water close up.
Melissa traps Abby as she tries to run off and explore on her own. Melissa invents a new activity that produces some great hair-do's.
Abby enjoyed Kim's drama... and demonstrated some good drama of her own. This video was shot in Kim and Scott's basement exercise room. They have a comfy hide-a-bed down there. Martha and Joe slept there... in the quietest spot in the house.
A fun time was had by all. The food was wonderful. Kim has turned into a gourmet cook... she fed us all kinds of liberal type food... you know... the kind you have never heard the name of, and it is supposed to be really good for you. We need to get Scott and Kim back to Texas before they forget what good BBQ tastes like! But... the seafood was great... Kim was raised on Long John Silvers... we can't go back there anymore... Hard to get good seafood here in San Antonio that an old retired guy can afford.
