The girls are growing up fast... boys too. The girls all seem to be into dresses and the boys into "TRUCKS !" Only one of our girls was into dresses... as I try to remember in my faded past.
I have been scraping the popcorn off the ceilings and re-texturing with a light orange peel texture. After that I painted the whole interior. I still have a little trim to do and I will spray all of the doors when the current grandkid group goes home. Struggling to keep my eyes open right now. Is there and age limit to taking care of kids? I'm starting to think removing popcorn off the ceiling was really easy... !
Oh...actually the front door gets replaced first.
I think there may be an age limit but apparently you guys aren't there yet :-)
I know the "big kids" are blessed to have you guys to help them out
truely I guess it is hard either way (I am sad to miss out & not get to see them as much as I would like - but too much can be to much too...
P.S. Is there a light at the end of the tunnel for your renovations??

I guess there is a light at the end of the tunnel... but it is a long tunnel isn't it ?
I love the clean look on the ceiling and the new color on the wall... but one of my favorite things is the new and slightly taller baseboards throughout the house.
Ready for new carpet now.
Still want to do the cabinets on either side of the fireplace in the living room. Then probably the bathrooms... at least the hall bath.
After that I just want to build furniture.
