After 2 years of traveling between Seattle and the Bay Area, and Seattle and New York City Scott is done.
He accomplished his Executive MBA in a joint program with California Berkeley and Columbia in New York. All this while working full time... and made the Deans List.
Way to go Scott !
Kim and Scott went to graduation at Berkeley and Mimi and PopPop took over Carter care.
We hung out at the Science Museum in Seattle and learned a lot... and looks like Martha is narrow minded... or got some Rogaine to grow some hair...
Double Trouble...
The Science Museum is at the base of the Space Needle.
We saw a great 3D movie on the Monarch Butterfly and played with lots of cool devices that enrich the mind.
One day we managed a ferry ride across Puget Sound to the small town of Kingston.
It was forecast to be clear on this day... I think it was clear in that one little spot over there... for a few minutes... at least the fog cleared.
When we got to Kingston we went for a walk and ate at a great little restaurant called Oak Table Cafe... great. French toast without syrup... ? Yup.... he ate the whole thing while holding on to the syrup... he loves syrup. Don't worry Kim... it was all organic, low fat and low cal...
While we were in Seattle we managed one walk to the park, but we bundled up and took towels to wipe off the play equipment so Carter wouldn't get wet and cold. Most of the time we ended up playing inside. Fortunately Carter got a Rokenbok starter set for Christmas and he loves it... We played Rokenbok for hours on end. Carter found Rockenbok all by himself while playing with Kim's iPad. He clicked on a Youtube link on a page and found his dream toy... it is still his favorite movie.
This toy is very well built. The only fault we have found with it is the screws on the battery compartment will strip out if you tighten them too tight. Kim complained about that and they sent a new conveyor belt... so now Carter has two of them... we improvised and fixed the one and now Carter runs them in sequence. It is a remote control truck and Carter hasn't quite got the hang of steering it but he is working on it. He likes to line up the conveyor belt with a parking garage and this little four story car ramp.
One of the many great things about visiting Carter is there is a Starbucks 3 blocks in one direction and 8 blocks in the other direction... I am easily entice to go for a walk... rain gear required.

Congrats Scott! and we enjoyed our time in Seattle as well. Didn't have cute Carter to show us around though.
