Nephew Nathan's Engagement Party
Our nephew, Nathan, is now engaged to his high school sweetheart, Jenna Donovan. He and his mom set the sign up at the lighthouse at LBJ. At dark, he took Jenna there, went down on one knee, and pushed the remote control in his pocket.
Luckily, the lights worked, and she said, "Yes!" Her family hosted an engagement party for them tonight in their home, and set the sign up for everyone to see.
We love Jenna and are excited she's going to be a part of our family!! Way to go, Nate!!!

What a creative way to propose... and to say "yes!" Mom, Nathan must not be that "pathetic"... did you see the gorgeous, brilliant young woman who said "yes?" Congratulations, Nathan and Jenna!!!
By the way, to anyone reading this blog that doesn't know... it is an inside joke that my mom has been lovingly calling Nathan "pathetic" for years... not serious, of course! We are all proud of him!
