There were some folks carrying signs and mingling with the crowds. They were wearing black suits. I like to think they were hired by the stores... they needed us to buy more stuff so they wouldn't go out of business. We let them down.
Actually they think we are wasteful... etc...
The weather cleared up for a walk at a park just down the street from Kim and Scott's house. The salmon were spawning... we (along with about 500 other people) watched one lonely salmon swimming in the shallow water creek... looking for a partner... (hmmm... this could be a story)...

Puget Sound in the background.
It was a little cold... but clear.

That is the stream.
You can imagine the elaborate meal Kim and Scott fixed... and the beautiful setting... our little girl has grown up.

I could eat some more of that cake... and the pumpkin pie.... .... .... that Scott made... way to go Scott... my football watching buddy. We supported lots of football teams for 2 days.Daddyoleo was stuffed with good food and his favorite beer... "Alaskan Amber"... Martha was just stuffed.

Yay! I'm very behind in my blog reading. What a great post! I'm so glad you guys came up. I felt selfish having you all to ourselves, but it was fantastic. THANK YOU for coming up! You are always welcome.
