When ever I buy wood for the next job I am always wondering if that wood will end up in the scrap heap after I totally ruin it.This is Leopardwood, and I hope it ends up being the top and drawer fronts for an entertainment center I hope to build. It will have lots of curves... and challenges. The other wood in that project will be Alder... which I will dye a very dark color that will contrast with Leopardwood.
Today I also bought the wood for the other half of the utility room. The Leopardwood is my reward for finishing up the utility room... which got interrupted by pretty little grand babies... and the furniture to go with them.

Not only did those precious granddaughters get beautiful heirlooms, you got to practice on your curves and angles.
