Abby thinks it is really funny to call both of us PopPop... it is a new game, and she is good at it. If you just mention Grandma's name she quickly blurts out "PopPop"... usually with a big grin. She is definitely her Grandma's Grandaughter... if you know what I mean. Martha has met her match.
One of our neighbors (Sonny and Laura) had their wood floors refinished this week and they couldn't put the furniture back down for a couple of days... so their living room turned into a big play room... Sonny and Laura's grandaughter, Sophia was there, and she is just a few weeks older than Abby. This is their first get acquainted event.
There was blanket sledding...
There was racing...
Followed by hugging... there were hugs after every race... no matter who won... talk about good-sportslady-ship.
Then there were moments of laughter... while waiting for the next activity...
Ring-Around-The-Rosie... It was good to see that a GrandPa could fall down and still get up... at 65. PopPop is not that old... I am talking about the other old guy... Sonny.
This was a great memory for the PopPop's... we hope we don't forget it...

Finally! We have been waiting patiently for these pics! Wait, we haven't updated our blog in weeks, so we can't complain! :-) You taught Abby well... she tried to be the ringleader of these same games at the Little Gym class earlier... so she definitely hasn't forgotten! Thanks for giving her a GREAT weekend! We love both Popops!
