Lake Powell is great if you want to find some quiet time. Peace. Serenity. Feel close to God. Sometimes it takes folks up to 3 days to forget about just about everything else... but, they do.

We drive 1107 (one way- 23 hours towing the boat at 60mph) miles to Halls crossing, Utah. We rent the boat there.

For a great website with lots of ideas, and photos... Wayne is the fish and game guy for the Lake Powell area. The web-site is great and it has a great bulletin board with lots of people willing to answer questions.

I have tons of books and I have even been know to write a newsletter... The Powell-Wowell... (or Pow-Wow for short) for friends that are going to the lake... I am what you would call a Lake Powell Fanatic... but, everyone already knows that.
