Lady Jane

Traitor

trai-tor    noun

A person who is not loyal to his or her own country, friends, etc.  : a person who betrays a country or group of people by helping or supporting an enemy.

One night we saw Jane Fonda on the Evening News (I think we got CBS news only). She was posing with the enemy and the video we saw was from the enemy's propaganda machine. She was at a AAA gun pit in Hanoi, North Vietnam.  She was smiling and being shown around Hanoi like royalty.

She gave blistering speeches demonizing our soldiers... us.  These speeches were used by the enemy in an attempt to demoralize us and as propaganda to encourage their people. Men were dying and Jane Fonda's propaganda gave strength to the enemy and prolonged the war. She was a traitor...  still is in my book.

Every single day we were shot at by guns just like the one she was standing next to in the photograph.

There use to be a lot on this on the Internet but recently it has been diluted by an image machine.  But here is a small glimpse in to her propaganda speeches in 1972...  Here

You can still find voice recordings of her speeches.  Here are some of the transcripts.

The military has a newspaper called the Stars and Stripes and one day we found the photo of her standing in the Anti-Aircraft Artillery gun pit... smiling...  Every night that photo of Hanoi Jane would find it's way to our dart board.

Lady Jane Seymour Fonda (her birth name) is part of the pain felt by many Vietnam Veterans.

Soldiers don't start wars... politicians do...
