A week or so ago Sharla, Jake, Abby and Katie came over for dinner. As we sat down at the table to eat. Abby said she would like to say the blessing. Well... Abby is a big girl now... 5 years old. She likes to make up her own blessing. No memorized blessing for her. She is really good at it.
The blessing started our pretty normal and then ended with:
"Today - Thank you God, for not killing our dog..."
Laughter broke out at we tried to figure out what that was about...
A lone storm had come by their house earlier that day and it included thunder and lightening. Daisy, their chocolate Lab was in the backyard all by herself and... she survived.
