Scott was scheduled to be at school in the Bay Area, and we hoped to help Kim out for a while since she was solo. Scott is enrolled in an Executive MBA program at Cal Berkley and Columbia in New York. This was his first trip and it will go on for a year and a half. Sometimes he will go to Berkley and other times he will go to New York. I guess they thought they were getting low on sky miles... this should fatten up the bank.
The weather in Seattle was cool and very nice. The big news up there was; "Seattle Braces For 70 Degrees" ... Really. They reached 70 degrees for the first time this year while we were there. If it had occurred 3 days later it would have set a record. The cool 70 was very much appreciated by us.
Kim and Carter at the park down the street.
Kim and Carter at a park (Green Lake) just a little farther down the street.
The Moose is a pretty easy going guy and giggles are readily available for anyone who will attempt to sing his favorite hit song... I can't sing... that is for sure... but it is really hard to sing when you are laughing.
The other big news in Seattle was the first Copper River Salmon had just been flown in from Alaska. They are mighty proud of that stuff and the seafood restaurants were crowed. We managed to get a seat in the sun at Ray's, in Ballard, and we enjoyed the sun. Carter got his first "kid" glass of water with a straw... after he sang "The Wheel on The Bus" song... we decided he was smart enough for a straw...
