My sister has 3 children and the oldest two are twins. They turned 40 this year and wanted a family reunion for their birthday. So they had a reunion at their brother's place on a ranch near Stonewall.
This is Mom and her two kids and all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

It was my first time to the ranchito... and it was beautiful. This is the swimming hole... about 23 feet deep and pretty blue water. The house sits on 20 acres and is part of a large family ranch.
The birthday girls. Kathie, on the left, lives in the Seattle area with her 3 boys. Angie lives in Gatesville with her 2 girls and 1 boy.

Melissa and Sharla brought their kids, but Kim had already been back to Texas several times this year so she didn't make it.
The trampoline had to be supervised or all 20-30 kids would have been on it at once. There were a few of Kathie and Angie's high school friends there too... with kids. Abby, Katie and Piper enjoyed the jumping too.
There was a young buck that made his appearance around sunset... his nightly visit. They rescued him from a fence and he keeps coming back. He loves chocolate cake... he got his own plate so he would leave everyone else alone... didn't work.
Katie had a great time, as did everyone. We kept Mom up past her bedtime... won't do that again.
On the way home when it was quiet in the car and we thought Abby was asleep... she said: "Thank you for taking me to Fredricksburger, PopPop". No doubt she wants a repeat. Camp Kruger may no longer be her favorite.
